FASTER fitness and athletic performance center focuses on increasing the fitness performance and confidence levels of our clients through encouragement, results-oriented programs and a top-notch staff that cares about your success. All clients are screened with a thorough evaluation prior to enrollment in any exercise program. Our training programs are designed to make athletes faster, more explosive and less prone to injury; whereas our fitness clients will experience increased lean body mass, flexibility and targeted weight loss. Our unique equipment paired with our cutting edge training programs give all of our clients the ability to “Get Better, FASTER”!

MEET THE TEAM!
Jason “Coach” owns FASTER, LLC, directing athlete performance and personal fitness programs. He opened FASTER Robinson in 2008 and FASTER Beaver in 2020, driven by his passion for health, fitness, and nutrition. Coach provides a positive, innovative training environment.
A Chippewa, PA native and IUP graduate, he has worked with NBA, NFL, NBL, Olympic, and NCAA coaches and athletes, and appeared on ESPN’s “Bound for Glory.” He has developed unique training protocols and believes in balance and stabilization training.
In 2017, Coach launched the FASTER supplement line with clean, effective ingredients. He and his team focus on achieving optimal results with minimal injury risk and superior nutrition support.
Although Sommer teaches high school calculus by day, Sommer has always had a passion for fitness, and fully understands how well fitness and nutrition can help people reach their goals. She also understands how a community based fitness center can mold long lasting relationships. The FASTER community was the foundation of her non-profit FASTER Friends that helps children afford sports activities, equipment, and everything in between for those in need.
Anthony started as a client with Coach DeRose in 2006. He excelled as an outstanding athlete in both football and track at the scholastic and collegiate level. In 2014 Anthony completed an internship at FASTER getting certified as a personal trainer and performance coach. Anthony then graduated from Washington and Jefferson College in 2017 and began full-time employment at FASTER Robinson in 2017. In August of 2020, Anthony became a founding partner of FASTER Beaver where he helps folks of all walks of life achieve their goals.
Stacy joined the FASTER staff in October of 2020. She has a Sport Management degree from Robert Morris University and had previous experience working in the professional sports industry. Stacy was a member of the track and field team at Robert Morris, so fitness is something she has always been passionate about. She has progressed from being a part-time trainer, to the General Manager of FASTER Pittsburgh.
Matthew Seger went to Hopewell High School where he as an excellent student athlete. Matthew completed his undergraduate work at Slippery Rock University with a major in Physical Activity in Fitness in 2017. Matthew completed his internship at FASTER Robinson where he earned his personal training certification. Matthew was immediately hired as a trainer at the completion of his internship and is now the director of training for FASTER Robinson. Mathew is very passionate about helping all of his clients reach their fitness goals.
Mia went to Slippery Rock University and graduated with a bachelors in exercise science. She has worked at FASTER since 2018 as an intern and then was hired as part of the FASTER family. She loves coming up with fun, new and creative workouts that help our clients reach their individual goals. Mia enjoys going through her fitness journey as a coach and client.
Peter started as a client back in 2013. Peter was an athlete his whole life which sparked his passion in fitness. In the summer of 2021 he completed his internship and was hired as a part time trainer. Peter graduated from The University of Pittsburgh in 2023 and began as a full time employee at FASTER in January of 2024. Peter strives to help others achieve their fitness goals, while helping them reach a healthy balanced lifestyle.
Peyton started as a client with Faster Fitness and coach Anthony in 2021. He is a life long athlete and found his passion for fitness, not only through sports, but also through weightlifting. He has a deep passion for health and wellness, helping people better their own lives and pushing them to achieve their goals.
Toria received her BS in Exercise Science from Slippery Rock University in 2018 and MS in Exercise Physiology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2019. She has a wide range of experience within the industry and she worked in clinical exercise research in both Colorado and Pittsburgh for 3 years. When Toria isn’t in the gym, she enjoys both watching and playing ice hockey, hiking, and quality time with her friends/family. Toria has a strong passion for health and fitness and strives to help anyone and everyone who is looking to commit to a healthy lifestyle.
Aaliyah is a recent graduate of the University of Louisville (go cards!) but is a native of Pittsburgh, PA. There, she studied dance at the creative and performing arts middle and high school, where she graduated valedictorian and earned top regional and national awards as a competitive dancer. At U of L, she lived out her dream of being apart of the 20x National Champion D1 dance team, the Louisville Ladybirds. Performing at games, placing 2nd overall at NDA nationals, dancing aside Jack Harlow and volunteering with her team were highlights of her collegiate career. In completing her bachelor’s in health and human performance and sports administration, Aaliyah found a passion for helping others lead happier, healthier lives within the fitness realm as a certified personal trainer!
