At Pure Power Yoga we keep it simple. We believe that everyone is a yogi, and that means you. You don't need to be flexible or thin or have the "right" clothes. You don't need to know ancient Sanskirt or burn incense in your home. All you need to do is show up.

At our studio we want you to leave behind expectations and come as you are. We have created a space for everyone to lay down their mats and find the practice that resonates within. It does not matter if you are a beginner or an advanced student - there is a class for everyone.

This practice is for people who are ready to tap into their inner power. If you are open and ready to receive, the practice will transform you physically, spiritually and mentally. You will walk away not only with a toned body but with more confidence and a more peaceful spirit.

Pure Power Yoga

Always having a passion for health and wellness, in 2009 Annie decided to ditch her dreams of becoming a doctor and pursue a career in the fitness industry. In 2010 she opened a personal training company, specializing in women's bootcamps, as well as one-on-one and corporate trainings. On a quest to increase her flexibility and gain a quieter mind, Annie began taking heated power yoga classes. She was AMAZED by her experience and immediately hooked! Not only was she becoming more flexible and enjoying a peaceful mind, she also noticed she was becoming leaner and stronger. Annie found herself thinking "wow this stuff' really does work!"

In 2012, Annie completed Level 1 training in Sedona, Arizona with Baron Baptiste and 120 other "eager to learn" yogis. She returned to Pittsburgh empowered and excited to share her experience with any and everyone.
